Elevate Your Vocal Talent at the BYU Choral and Vocal Institute!
We are thrilled to announce the return of the BYU Choral and Vocal Institute for the summer of 2026. This exclusive program is designed for talented singers ages 14–18, selected through a video audition process. If you’re ready to take your vocal skills to the next level, this is your chance to embark on a truly immersive musical journey.
The program begins on June 9, 2026 with the Musicians' Institute and runs through June 20, 2026, culminating in a spectacular performance during the final concerts of Musicians' SummerFestival on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
Over the course of 12 days, participants will:
- Rehearse and perform in a choir setting
- Build acting and performance skills through music
- Receive personalized private voice lessons
- Attend workshops on conducting, mindful practice, audition preparation, vocal literature, and pursuing a career in singing
In addition to the rigorous musical training, participants will enjoy concerts, recitals, dances, and a variety of social activities that make this experience even more memorable.
